The Embassy of the Netherlands and of the Consulate General in Milan
The cultural sections of the Embassy of the Netherlands and of the Consulate General in Milan have the task of promoting Dutch cultural events in Italy and strengthening mutual knowledge and the already solid collaboration between the two countries in various sectors. Through grants, they facilitate the participation of Dutch designers, artists and experts in festivals, exhibitions, concerts and cultural events of various kinds, and provide indications on public funds in the Netherlands aimed at promoting, also with economic support, the internationalization of Dutch creativity and culture. In recent years much attention has been paid to creative industries such as architecture, fashion and design.

Why does Playwood supports the values promoted by Design Collisions?
PlayWood is the result of 3D printing and furniture experimentation in a co-working space, a flexible space co-designed by its Impact Hub community. PlayWood, the connector that is now sold in 28 countries, was born from the project of setting up Impact Hub and from a subsequent industrialization and it was conceived to set up in a flexible way exhibits, pop-up shops, exhibition areas. You can download free projects from the site and use purchased locally wooden boards to create your own project. This way, PlayWood encourages the use of local materials, thus limiting the environmental impact and the cost of transport, stimulating the creativity of a community of over 10,000 people who share their projects online, from a circular economy and open design perspective.
